Pilates With Lorna
Please note: As many of you know my youngest daughter was due to give birth to her first child and when that happened I was rushing off up to London to be there. Well it's happened!!
So there will be interruptions in the classes I give this week, I will update this note regularly so you don't turn up to a class that isn't on, and sorry for any inconvenience caused. Everything will be back to normal next week.
So there will be no classes on: Weds 30th July or Thursday 31st July 2025. Check back later to see about Friday!
Benefits for Runners
As a keen runner, completing the London Marathon in 2017, Pilates was the perfect way to ensure I kept injury free and strong form. As a result I have tailored exercises specific to the running community.
Pilates can correct muscle imbalances resulting from high impact training by:

aligning the joints

strengthening and stretching the muscles to prevent pain and injury, particularly in the injury prone areas such as the hips, knees, hamstrings, IT band and Achilles tendon
