Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What should I wear?

A: Wear comfortable clothing, gym wear is best but if not, make sure that it isn’t too loose so that body alignment can be seen.  This will ensure that exercises are carried out safely. No need for trainers, barefoot or in socks works best. Bring a bottle of water to keep you hydrated throughout the class. If it’s cold, bring a warm top for the relaxation.

 

Q: Do I need to bring a mat?

A: No, all mats and equipment are provided although if you want to bring your own mat please do. 


Q: How long is the class?

A: Classes are an hour long


Q: How much does a class cost?

A: Classes are £7.00 per class on a drop-in basis but if you prefer, you can pay for a block of 6 consecutive lessons at a charge of £35.00. However, if you miss a class this will not be refundable. 
 

Q: How do I pay?

A: At the moment I can only accept cash or a bank transfer.


Q: Do I need to book?

A: No, drop-ins are welcome but if you block buy 6 lessons, then your place is guaranteed.


Q: Can I participate if I am pregnant?

A: Yes, but please contact me before you turn up so we can assess your needs. Please note that I am fully qualified in exercise adaptations for pre and postnatal clients, specialising in Pilates.

Q: Can I participate if I have just had a baby?

A: Yes, as long as you have passed your 6-week check. Please contact me before you turn up so we can assess your needs.  Please note that I am fully qualified in exercise adaptations for pre and postnatal clients, specialising in Pilates.

Q: Who can participate in Pilates?

A: Pilates is suitable for everyone! Whatever your fitness level, age or gender. Whether you are a regular exerciser or a beginner.  Even if you have specific medical conditions or injuries Pilates can be beneficial to you. So please get in touch
